We welcome all novice and aspiring models
- if you do not have an online portfolio at
this time - you must include the following:
(1) a headshot in full color and a full body shot
- preferably standing
(2) please mention any scars, stretch marks,
tattoos or piercings
The artists studio is located in the Eugene - Oregon
and may have room to accomodate 1 guest for use
by traveling clients - Otherwise models are free to pay
for their own accomodations at any of the nearby Hotels
Full shoots last 2-3 days on average,
your meals will be taken care of.
All shoots are TFP except for published Cover Art.
Models may receive raw images plus average of
1-4 fine art portraits creations.
Requests for custom images are also considered.
Digital creation is an extensively time consuming
process and may take up to 24 months or more to
recieve photos on TFP works. Commissioned
artwork requires a minimum 30 day deadline.

Studio Conduct - WHAT IS Encouraged
Models are welcome to offer ideas and suggestions for
artwork, styles, subjects, poses, backgrounds and to fully
interact in the creative process
Traveling models who are staying at the studio may use
the computer to catch up on email contacts, and may
book shoots with other photographers in the area during
their visit. Please bring your own cell phone for long
distance calls.
A casual and comfortable atmosphere is always presented,
clients are certainly welcome to express their personality.
Models are allowed to make or accept calls at any time.
Michel has 20 yrs exp. in this field, and models are treated
with respect and concern for their safety.
What Savage does is not "point & shoot" photography, and
prefers to only work with models with self confidence and
a professional attitude who can bring something positive
into the artwork he creates.
Model - Photographer Compensation
Shoots will be (TFP) if the Photographer is not working on
paid commission by the model. This includes the raw photos
from the shoot and reproduction rights for your own portfolio
& promotion. NB: Original Copyright and choice of photos to
release is retained solely by the photographer.
Anyone who is not actively part of the shoot is not allowed to
be present. This judgement is made from 2 decades of experience.
Spectators detract from the photographer / model interaction
required. There will be no exception to this rule. ( No Escorts )
- Please note that there is no smoking allowed at any time -
Being excessively late for/or missing a shoot without any prior
notice is bad form. 24 hrs advance notice is required to reschedule.
Unless the Photographer is recieving direct payment from the
client/model for the photo shoot itself, the choice of creation
of the artwork is at the sole discresion of the Photographer. (IE: The artist must dedicate 40-80 hrs on average per picture to
create the artwork. Time creating each fine art portrait which
averages between $600 - $1000 in value )
